Known for their artisan cheeses made from the milk of their 100 Oberhaslis goats and Lisa Kaimen's herd of 30 Jerseys at Jersey Girl Dairy in Chester, VT. In 1864, Consider Bardwell was the first cheese-making co-op in Vermont. The fields are pesticide-free and fertilizer-free, and they use all non-animal rennet for their cheeses, which are aged on the farm.
